Mosques of Turkey - Konya Selimiye mosque / Konya
One of those “must see” cities. Famous for the burial site (and thus place of pilgrimage) of Mevlana, but otherwise also a rich city, full of great mosques, many of them from the Selcuk period. Some wonderful museums, nice people. Very religious, but it never bothered me.
